Jeff Blackett, the disciplinary officer for the RFU, released a document that urges England’s new manager Martin Johnson to toughen up and get his players in order.

The document suggests there should be an imposed ban that would prevent players from bringing guests back to the hotel, as well as strict rules on the amount of alcohol players are allowed to drink.

Blackett stated: “There is clearly a need for a tighter rein on players when they are on England duty and they all need to be given clear guidelines about the limits of acceptable behavior.”

And after last month’s New Zealand fiasco Martin Johnson really does not have an option.

Martin Johnson, new manager for the England’s Rugby team is laying down the law.

Johnson announced his 32 men squad and 3 out of the 4 players that are rumored to be involved in a sex scandal were missing from the line-up. Johnson claims it has nothing to do with the scandal – but somehow I doubt it I mean 3 out of 4, hello!

Only one player has been granted a pardon (well so far anyway) Danny Care.

David Strettle one of the players that was involved found out the news from the Internet (he is currently in United States trying to patch things up with his girlfriend – hm yes good luck with that).

Johnson stated matter of conduct will be discussed: “The players will be under no illusions as to where responsibilities lie… Some things will be non-negotiable such as late nights and females being brought to the team hotel… When I played, we had a code of conduct — but it did not have to be read. Players knew what was required.”

Well for all their talk of code of conduct and other whatnots it seems Martin Johnson is nowhere near as tough as he would like you to believe.

Even though only one of the players Danny Care has managed to survive Johnson’s chopping block, it seems the rest 3 managed to plead their case in front of England’ management. So they got another chance.

Well the reprieve did not got without hiccups as David Strettle did not show up for the hearing as he is on holidays in America (apparently the bosses are furious and Strettle obviously does not a job or something).

But since the lap dancer in question did not file an official complaint the boys are getting away with a slap on the wrist.

After all this I do wonder will the rugby players still be tempted by the red lights district?

Mere weeks have passed since the alleged sex scandal involving the England’s Rugby team and now the team is ready for another shake up as Martin Johnson takes over as the team’s manager.

Johnson’s method of inciting his players? Money.

They get Ł8000 (almost $16.000) per game regardless of the result and the incentive of added Ł3000 ($6000) per game if they do win.

There is also the small matter of Ł750.000 bonus divided by team members. That is if they manage to turn their game around and start winning.

I do wonder will money scheme will be enough to keep the players from red light districts?

4 England rugby players that are involved in the sex scandal that happened in New Zealand have finally been named.

David Strettle, Topsy Ojo, Mike Brown and Danny Care are the names that have emerged, however the players are under a gag order and might lose their spot on the team in case they do speak out.

The source stated “The players involved feel under pressure and angry. They are single guys who said they did nothing wrong…Players who had nothing to do with it are furious too. The whole squad feels it will stay under a shadow until the air is cleared.”

The team arrived back to England, but were immediately ferried to the hotel and cannot speak to none until the internal investigation is completed.

More trouble ahead for England’s Rugby team. It seems that once the new team manager Martin Johnson takes over he will have to include the 4 players that were involved in the sex scandal into his squad.

The RFU cannot take any actions against the players until either the case is dropped or the formal charges are made.

Disciplinary chief of RFU Jeff Blackett stated “The team can’t come back and nothing happens. Something has to be made public because there are a number of uninvolved players.”

That might included losing their wages and their contracts being terminated.

I do have a confession to make – sometimes I find British tabloids thoroughly amusing. Especially when there is a story about Kiss-and-tell-girls.

The latest expose in News of the World sheds some light on the England Rugby Team sex scandal.

A 22 year old girl Sophie (who also goes under the name of Angel tssss) is not the one that was involved in the sex scandal, however she did bed winger David Strettle.

To give you the gist of the story night before the game players were out to a sleazy nightclub in the red lights district of Auckland and the line was miles long (it seems the word spread the players were in town so a great number of enthusiastic girls showed up). Aforementioned Angel did not waste any time, she managed to chat up Strettle and he took her back to the hotel.

But what makes this story interesting is that not only have the players been out in the red lights district drinking for hours on end but they took the girls back to the hotel in a mini van supplied by their minders – who were supposed to keep them in check to being with.

Well so much for the management not knowing anything about players’ shenanigans.

Oh and did I mention England lost? Again? My guess is they were either still hungover or they had their mind on other things.

Well after all the furore and assurance from the England’s management it seems the rugby players are not so keen to co-operate with the local authorities after all.

The latest development in the England Rugby Team’s alleged sex scandal is that the 4 players that have been named have declined to talk to the New Zealand police.

The local police force has a following statement “The players have advised police — via legal representation this morning — that they are declining to be interviewed by police on the matter at this stage.»

The English team management meanwhile is standing by their players “The players continue to deny the allegations and have the full support of the England management, coaches and players.»

4 players of the England’s Rugby Team are still under the investigation by the New Zealand authorities, but details have finally emerged about the nature of the alleged assault.

It seems a 18 year old girl reported being raped by 2 of the England’s players. While the rugby team is co-operating with the local authorities, the source within the management team has leaked a few more details.

According to the source the girl in question called the hotel ahead of time to check whether or not the players are drinking there. At some point she showed up and ended up having sex with one the players. That was until the second player joined it. According to the source the sex was consensual and the girl left the hotel calm and collected. A few hours later the attack was reported to the police.

Former England’s chief Dick best blames the incident on the tour manager Rob Andrew “He’s toured with England and the Lions and knows damn well that you must get the excited youngsters in your squad calmed down and fully aware of the pitfalls. “This has left our game tarnished, whatever the outcome of the investigation. It’s a disgrace.»

Well disgrace is one way of putting it.
