Roger Federer won his 35th straight U.S. Open match on Monday with a 6-1, 6-3, 7-5 victory over Devin Britton in the first round of the event.
If Federer can win the tournament he will become the first man since Bill Tilden in the 1920s to win six consecutive American Grand Slam titles.

Roger Federer won the Cincinnati Masters title after beating Novak Djokovic, 6-1, 7-5 on Sunday. It was his first title win since becoming a Father on July 23rd.

24-year old French tennis player Mathieu Montcourt has been found dead. The cause of death is not yet known.
