Tyson Gay won the 100-meter dash at the U.S. Olympic trials with the time of 9.68 seconds. Even though his time was wind aided it’s still the fastest any human has ever ran.
During the Utah state track championships an unlucky photographer had a javelin pierce through his leg but even though he was in pain, he still managed to take this picture.
Luckily for the photographer the javelin just went through the skin and didn’t hit any blood vessels, nerves, ligaments or tendons.
Hopefully next time this guy covers a track meet he’ll be smart enough to pay attention and stay out of the danger zones.
