Tennessee Titans backup quarterback Vince Young is slowly showing signs of maturity. Earlier in the week he surprised the late Steve McNair’s two younger sons and accompanied them to their school’s “Dear Dads Breakfast” at a local restaurant.
Suicidal quarterback Vince Young is telling the Tennessee Titans they better play him or trade him in the upcoming 2009 NFL season.

Tennessee Titans owner, Bud Adams has no intentions of releasing or trading Vince Young anytime soon. In fact, Adams says Young is still the Titans franchise quarterback.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young has revealed that he almost retired after his stressful rookie season.
“I really thought long and hard about it,” Young told NFL.com “There was so much going on with my family. It was crazy being an NFL quarterback. It wasn’t fun anymore. All of the fun was out of it. All of the excitement was gone. All I was doing was worrying about things. My teammates helped lift me out of it. I prayed really hard. And I began to focus on God’s calling for me. Play football. Be a role model.”
To be a successful quarterback and leader in the National Football League you have to be able to handle a lot of pressure. It sounds like Vince Young has trouble with that.
