10 Of The Greatest Wrestling Promos In History
With last week’s South Park episode taking a look at the theatrical side of pro wrestling we thought it’d be great to take our own look at the expositional side of wrestling by counting down of our all time favorite wrestling promos. We aren’t going to go so far as to claim these are the ultimate superduper top 10 of all history or anything, but we think these can definitely all be argued and that you’ll enjoy all 10. 10. HHH Calls Stone Cold Steve Austin ‘Barney Fife’
Probably the most favorable promo out there featuring HHH, here he is holding his own against a great promo guy himself in Stone Cold Steve Austin.
9. The Rock: Toronto Mother Canuckers
The Rock is of course known for his famous eyebrow and several massively popular catch-phrases but his greatest skill might have been his unique ability to rile up local audiences. That skill is on full display here as he takes on a hostile Toronto crowd.
