Celtics sign Rasheed Wallace

The Boston Celtics continued to improve their team by signing 4-time All-Star Rasheed Wallace on Wednesday.
“We are ecstatic to be able to add a player the caliber of Rasheed Wallace to our team,” Celtics general manager Danny Ainge said. “It is not everyday that you can add a four-time All-Star and a player with championship experience.”
With the addition of Wallace the Celtics now have 4 veterans all in their 30’s, but that doesn’t bother Ainge.
“If they take good care of themselves, which all three of them do, and they stay healthy I think there’s a really good chance,” Ainge said. “I think all those guys will be up in my office pretty quick looking for more years on their contracts.”
The Celtics have an older team, but all of these guys can still play. Boston has to be one of the early favorites to make it into the finals next season, if they can stay healthy.
