After their game 1 loss Eddie House and Rajon Rondo stepped up huge to help the Celtics beat the Magic 112-94 in game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series on Wednesday.

“I was sluggish to start Game 1 and didn’t come out with enough passion,” Rondo said. “And that will never happen again.”

House led Boston with 31 points while Rondo added an additional 15 points including 18 assists and 11 rebounds.

“It was a matter of me having energy on the court,” House said. “I just tried to get my hands on the ball and keep guys in front of me.”

The Magic should be able to take the series lead again after game 3, which takes place Friday night in Orlando.
