Are the Chicago Bears a better football team than the Indianapolis Colts? It sure looked that way when the Chicago Bears, led by QB Kyle Orton, destroyed Manning and Co. 29-13 in the 2008 debut of Sunday Night Football on NBC.

“We had a couple of balls that we couldn’t catch, we had a ball on the ground we couldn’t get and they stripped one out and ran it back for a touchdown,” Dungy said. “It’s been a long time since we’ve been beaten like that.”

Everybody associated with the Colts was very upset after the stunning loss, especially Peyton Manning.

“It’s sickening,” Peyton Manning said. “First game new stadium, fifteenth game of the season — same stadium. It’s really disappointing to lose.”

Cheer up Manning, you still have 15 more games to play — just sit back and relax, study the game film and grab some meatloaf.
