Chicago Cubs end Phillies’ 10 game win streak

The Chicago Cubs ended the Philadelphia Phillies 10 game win streak with an impressive 10-5 victory on Wednesday.
“Hopefully, this will give us a jump start and we’ll get rolling,” Cubs 2nd baseman Jeff Baker said.
This was only the 2nd loss for the NL East leading Phillies in just 16 games; The defeat snapped their longest win streak in 18 years.
“It seemed like we couldn’t get the big hit when we really needed hit,” Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said. “They kept adding on and we couldn’t catch them.”
Philly fans shouldn’t be too worried after the loss. If anything this will only motivate the team to practice hard and play their best in every game.
