Chiefs Fire Offensive Coordinator

Two Chiefs updates in one day!? We’re surprised too. Kansas City continued to make the news on Monday when head coach Todd Haley decided to remove Chan Gailey as the teams Offensive Coordinator.
“I think the world of Chan as a coach, have the greatest amount of respect for him as a coach, as a person,” Haley said. “But ultimately, the fate of this team, the accountability, falls to me.”
The Chiefs’ offense has been very disappointing so far in the preseason with Gailey calling the plays. Their record is 0-3 and they have only managed to score two offensive touchdowns.
The firing comes just less than two weeks before their regular season opener against the Ravens on September 13th.
Haley will act as his own offensive coordinator from here on out.
