The Kansas City Chiefs have signed former seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Zach Thomas to a 1-year deal worth $2 million deal.

After a long career with the Miami Dolphins the 36-year old Thomas played with the Dallas Cowboys last season and started 14 of 16 games; recording 94 tackles.

With Thomas in the lineup the Chiefs linebacker corps is full of big names including former Patriots star Mike Vrabel and young stud Derrick Johnson.

Chiefs new General Manager Scott Pioli must have inherited his love for smart linebackers from his menter Bill Belichick.
