Chuck Liddell gets knocked out …again

Former Light Heavyweight Champion and MMA legend Chuck Liddell was stopped with just 4 minutes, 28 seconds into round 1 on Saturday by Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.
“I’m disappointed,” Liddell said. “I had a great camp. I was in great shape. I was ready to go, and things weren’t firing quite right.”
This fight was Liddell’s 4th loss in his last five fights. After the fight Liddell, who turns 40 in December, finally said he will consider retirement.
“I gotta go home and talk to everybody,” Liddell said. “I don’t know. I just didn’t feel right tonight.”
Liddell is one of the big reason’s for MMA’s growing popularity in the past few years but it’s obvious he’s just to old to be competitive anymore. He should have retired in 2007.
