With the 2nd pick the Memphis Grizzlies selected Connecticut center Hasheem Thabeet. The Oklahoma City Thunder took James Harden with the 2rd pick and then the Sacramento Kings grabbed Memphis freshman Tyreke Evans with their 4th pick.
