Daunte Culpepper has only been with the Lions for two days but he’s already getting more practice reps than any other quarterback on their roster which most likely means their preparing him to their starter for Sundays game against the Jaguars.

“I’m like a sponge right now, trying to absorb it all,” Culpepper said.

“I definitely feel that I can go out there and be myself, I’m 100 percent healthy and I feel great.”

Other than Culpepper the only healthy QB currently on the Lions roster is 2nd year pro Drew Stanton so it’s not like he’s beating out tuff competition for the gig. And the Lions can’t get any worse so they might as well try to sell a few extra tickets by starting C-Pep.
