Although the Los Angeles Lakers were playing with a less than 100% Kobe Bryant due to the flu they were still able to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 101-91. Lakers PF Lamar Odom picked up the slack for his sick teammate scoring a season high 28 points.

“That was one of the best games he’s played for us,” Lakers coach Phil Jackson said of Odom. “He’s had some spectacular games, but that was a terrific game. It was the total package of his game. He broke people down with his speed and quickness to the basket and got some easy shots.”

LeBron James scored only 16 points in a losing effort.

“You have to give the Lakers credit,” said James. “I missed a lot of easy looks that I usually make.”

LeBron’s performance was a huge disappointment…Maybe he had the flu too?
