The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-2 in game 3 of the NL Championship Series to trim Philadelphia’s lead to 2-1 in the best of seven series.

“We needed to get the momentum back,” Dodgers catcher Russell Martin said. “I think we did that.”

The Dodgers will try to ride their momentum and tie the series in game four on Monday night when game 1 loser Derek Lowe faces Joe Blanton.
