Michael Vick was released from federal custody on Monday, 23 months after he began serving time for killing dogs. The NFL still has not decided if they will allow him to play in the NFL this year.

“The review of his status is ongoing, but we are providing no other details at this time,” league spokesman Greg Aiello said.

The New York Jets are one team that may be interested in signing the dog killer.

“It is going to take a lot of hard work for Vick to make it back,” Jets veteran receiver Jerricho Cotchery said.

I have no idea why any team would want to sign Vick. He would be a huge distraction and he was always an overhyped inconsistent talent. Let him join the UFL.
