Quarterback Donovan McNabb suffered a fractured rib during the 3rd quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles dominating 38-10 win over the Carolina Panthers.
“He’s sore right now. He’s got a broken rib,” Eagles coach Andy Reid said. “We’ll just see how he does over the next little bit.”
It’s not known for sure if McNabb will miss any time due to the injury, but Reid did say there’s a chance McNabb will play next week when the Eagles take on the New Orleans Saints.
If McNabb doesn’t play, we’ll really have to question his toughness. It’s just a broken rib. He needs to suck it up, be a man, and get ready to play some football.
