Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jim Johnson Dead at 68

Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson lost his battle with cancer and died at the age of 68.
“For 10 years, Jim Johnson was an exceptional coach for the Philadelphia Eagles, but more importantly, he was an outstanding human being,” Eagles chairman Jeffrey Lurie said. “As an integral part of the Eagles family, Jim epitomized the traits of what a great coach should be — a teacher, a leader, and a winner … It was easy to feel close to him.”
Jim Johnson has been one of the best defensive minds the National Football League has ever had and the Eagles will suffer without him. He was a great coach and more importantly he was a great person.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.
