Talk about determination.

Olympic swimmer Eric Shanteau has been diagnosed with testicular cancer just before the Olympic try-outs.

His doctors have advised to have the operation immediately however Shanteau qualified for the Olympics team and had to decide what he was going to do.

Shanteau said: “If I didn’t make the team, the decision would have been easy: Go home and have the surgery. I made the team, so I had a hard decision. But, by no means am I being stupid about this.”

Well I for one wish him good health and at least one medal.
