Brett Favre was the very first guest ever on the new HBO show “Joe Buck Live”. During his interview on the show Favre said the only team he has spoken to regarding a comeback has been the Minnesota Vikings, but he will not make any decisions until he knows if his surgically repaired shoulder will make a full recovery.

“If it ever gets to the point where it feels like it did before it started hurting, then the biggest question mark is out of the way,” Favre said.

Favre said Vikings coach Brad Childress wanted him to attend recent organized team activities, but he didn’t want to create a “media frenzy”.

“I figured there would be a media frenzy if I was there,” he said. “And there would be a media frenzy if I couldn’t play, if we had to say three weeks later, ‘You know, his arm’s just not up to par. He can’t play.’

“So why not have just one media frenzy, and that be later on?”

After watching the interview in its entirety, it’s apparent Favre will play again as long as his shoulder responds well to the surgery.
