Federer reaches French Open quarterfinals

Roger Federer rallied from two sets down on Monday to beat 63rd-ranked Tommy Haas of Germany and advance to the French Open quarterfinals.
If Federer wins his next two matches he’ll have a chance to win the only grand slam championship he has never won. He has lost to Rafael Nadal in each of the past 3 finals and in the 2005 semifinals. Fortunately for Federer, Nadal was eliminated from the tournament on Sunday when he lost to Robin Soderling.
“You’re aware of it,” Federer said. “Definitely changes it up, if I were to make the final. But we’re not there yet, so honestly it hasn’t changed a whole lot for me.”
Federer should be able to win it all; next up he’s set to face Gael Monfils.
