All is fair in love and football.

Real Madrid has been trying to lure Ronaldo away from Manchester United for quite a while now. Real made a number of public statements on how interested they were to have Manchester United biggest star cross over to their camp.

To get a better idea of Real’s commitment to their plan at one point even Ronaldo’s own mum posed for Spanish press in Real Madrid jersey and stated how happy she would be if Ronaldo came to Spain.

But Manchester United is not having any, they have filed an official complaint to FIFA. Due to insufficient evidence however FIFA has decided that Real cannot be charged for breaching any contracts. Yet.

However they have recommended that the Spanish Football Federation should warn Real about their future conduct. It seems to me Real is not giving up the fight just yet.
