Sources say soon to be Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has had arthroscopic surgery on his throwing shoulder so he can play in his 19th NFL season.

Last month Favre met with orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews to see if surgery would be needed but when cortisone shits and therapy didn’t work they decided surgery was the only way to go.

Expect Favre to sign with the Vikings in 3 weeks tops if it looks like the surgery was a success.
