The #1 Florida Gators proved to be the best team in college football Thursday night when they beat the Oklahoma Sooners 24-14 for the BCS Championship.

Immediately after the game media members tried to rain on the parade by asking Gators coach Urban Meyer if his team really deserves to be ahead of Utah and USC.

“I’ll tell you, we’re going to enjoy a big win, we’re going to enjoy the national championship,” coach Meyer said. “Let someone else worry about that. Gators are No. 1.”

TIm Tebow clearly outplayed this years Heisman trophy winner Sam Bradford and was named the games most outstanding player.

“Tebow, just call him Superman,” Gators receiver Percy Harvin said.

White Gators fans were celebrating, Sooners fans were busy blaming everything on head coach Bob Stoops, who has lost his last 5 BCS games.

“In the end, I’ll be glad to try again next year,” Stoops said. “If that’s the biggest burden I have to bear in my life, I’m a pretty lucky guy.”

Sooners fans need to lay off Stoops. He’s one the best coaches in college football and without him they would have been playing in one of those toilet bowls, not National Champtionship game.
