Giants agree to blockbuster deal with Eli Manning

Eli Manning and the New York Giants have agreed to a new six-year, $97.5 million contract extension, making the 28-year old quarterback amond the highest paid NFL players.
“He is a franchise quarterback,” Giants general manager Jerry Reese said. “He has done everything we asked him to do. He has come in, taken a lot of flak from you guys [the media] and he just keeps going. He does what we ask him on the field and he does what we ask him to do off the field. He is a good football player.”
Giants fans should are very happy to have one of the better quarterbacks locked up through the 2015 season. Now if they can get him some receivers who don’t shoot themselves at night clubs, they should be just fine.
