Olympic beach volleyball champions Misty May-Treanor & Kerri Walsh actually lost a match on Sunday afternoon ending their 112-Match Win streak.
After the game it was obvious the duo wasn’t focused during the match.
“I can’t tell you what day it is right now,” May-Treanor said. “I’m tired. It would be nice if this were the last tournament. Kerri and I have a lot going on. It’s tough to focus just on volleyball right now. But that’s what we do.”
Misty May-Treanor & Kerri Walsh have been so great for so long it’s time for them to take a well deserved break from volleyball. They have nothing left to prove and they’ve already accomplished more than anyone could have ever hoped for.
Relax ladies, your the champs. Take some time off and enjoy it.
