Former Dancing with the Stars champ Helio Castroneves won his third Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, becoming just the ninth driver to win atleast 3 Indy 500’s, and the first to do so since Rick Mears won his 3rd in 1988.

“Wow, three,” Castroneves said. “I can’t believe it.”

Castroneves was able to pull away in the final laps to beat Dan Wheldon and Danica Patrick.

“I’m very happy for him,” Patrick said. “I’m glad to have him back, and obviously he’s great for the sport.”
