The Sacramento Kings have agreed to trade Ron Artest to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Houston’s 1st round draft pick in 2009, former king Bobby Jackson and the draft rights to Donte Greene. In addition the Kings will receive more than $1 million in cash.

“Yes, it has been tentatively agreed upon,” said Artest’s agent, Mark Stevens, according to KRIV television in Houston. “Now it has to be confirmed by the league office and until that is done, it’s not official.”

The addition of Ron Artest will make the Rockets a feared team but they gave up way to much for such a bad character guy who could shatter the entire chemistry of the team.
