IOC senior official Kevan Gosper claims that both the International Olympic Committee and the International media should have been told that the Internet access in Beijing will be restricted.

Oh sure Chinese government will tell you that they plan to block some sites! Honestly, some people.

Gosper stated: “It’s learning of it at almost the last minute that I think is destabilizing the international media and certainly embarrassing for me, as up till 48 hours ago I was insisting it would be free and uncensored Internet access”.

Embarrassing for you? What about those poor buggers that have to write the story and are sweating to make the deadline?

BOCOG spokesman stated that the reports will be able to freely reported from the Olympics however the access to some
websites will be restricted. Websites that give information Chinese government deems illegal.

Which in Communist language can mean virtually anything they deem fit.
