Orlando Magic players are expecting All-Star point guard Jameer Nelson to play in the NBA finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. Nelson has season-ending surgery in February for a torn labrum in his right shoulder.

“I expect to see him out there at some point in the series,” backup point guard Anthony Johnson said.

Nelson participated in a full practice with the team for the first time on Tuesday.

“I’m not saying I’m any tougher or stronger than anybody, but I’ve been known to do some amazing things sometimes,” Nelson said Tuesday.

If the Magic play him it will be a huge mistake in my opinion. Chemistry is the most important thing and since he’s been gone for so long he would do nothing but hurt the team.
