Jason Kidd has told the Dallas Mavericks that he has every intention to re-sign with the team.

“We are excited to have Jason Kidd back in a Mavs uniform,” Mavericks owner Mark Cuban told The Dallas Morning News. “He was a major contributor for us last year, and we expect more of the same next year.”

The 36-year old Kidd chose to stay with Mavs over the New York Knicks who made a hard push for the guard.

Kidd will receive a 3-year contract worth $25 million.
