The New York Jets feel comfortable enough with rookie Mark Sanchez under center that they’ve already named him their starting QB over Kellen Clemens.

“This comes with a lot of responsibility,” Sanchez told the media. “As happy as I am, I know that this is just the beginning and I’m just excited, really excited, to get to play with such great players.”

The 5th overall pick out of Southern California has made quite the impression on 1st year head coach Rex Ryan.

“I feel very comfortable and confident in my decision,” Ryan said.

We’ll be shocked if Sanchez ends up being anything but a disaster for the Jets. We don’t see how his noodle arm and pretty boy attitude will work in New York.
