American hero Joey Chestnut defeated his arch rival Takeru Kobayashi to win Coney Island’s annual hot dog eating contest. Chestnut ate a world-record 68 hot dogs while pansy Takeru Kobayashi could only handle 64.

“It wasn’t pretty, but I got ‘em down,” Chestnut said after the eating competition.

Joey Chestnut is a true American hero and his victory over Kobayashi makes me proud to be an American.
