Legendary coach and sports commentator John Madden has said he will retire as soon as Al Michaels retires.

“I will never work with another guy,” Madden said. “When I don’t work with Al Michaels anymore, I won’t work.”

Let’s hope Michaels doesn’t retire anytime soon. Nobody has ever meant more to the history of the National Football League than John Madden. He has been the voice of the NFL for many years and I can’t imagine football without him.

Some people have no idea how much he actually means to the league.
