Kelly Pavlik vs. Sergio Mora coming this Summer
Middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik will fight contender champ and former junior middleweight titleholder Sergio Mora this Summer according to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.
“I told Bob to go forward with it and talk to [Wald] and I would talk to Kelly and Mike,” Pavlik’s Manager Cameron Dunkin said. “We’re fine, but Bob and I still need to have a discussion about it. It’s not done yet but we’re not talking about anyone else. Bob says this is what he wants to do, so this is what we’re planning to do.”
Dunkin believes this will be one of Pavliks toughest fights to date.
“Mora is a terrific fighter,” Dunkin said. “It’s a tough fight because he’s tricky and he’s clever. Nobody looks good against Sergio Mora. Kelly and Mike are fine with the fight. We all have a lot of respect for him. Kelly and Mora were in the same Olympic trials and he is an ex-world champion. He beat Forrest, which is no easy feat. We know it’s a tough fight. They said I need to get Kelly really good sparring for this kind of guy.”
Mora sucks. If Pavlik wants to be known as a top 5 pound for pound fighter he better knock this chump out.

I coundnt have said it better myself! How in the heck does The Latin Fake keep getting title fights! He’s terrible, a c-class fighter at best. His claim to fame is that he beat a 37 year old Forrest, who came back in the second fight and obliterated Mora! Come on, please somebody knock this chump. this Pretender out so we wont have to see his ugly cocky persona ever again!
By the way…we hate Mora not because he was the winner of the Pretender series but because he is a terrible, boring boxer and his personality is crass!
