The Los Angeles Lakers had no problem winning their playoff opener over the Utah Jazz 113-100 on Sunday.

“They kept knocking on the door and we just never let them in,” Kobe Bryant said.

Kobe Bryant led the Lakers in points with 24, Trevor Ariza finished with 21 and Pau Gasol added 20.

“We kind of looked like deer in the headlights to start,” Utah coach Jerry Sloan said after the game. “I was kind of shocked.”

Game 2 wil ltake place Tuesday night in LA.
