Lane Kiffin on the Hot Seat; Raiders Beat Chiefs
With reports that owner Al Davis will be firing Lane Kiffin as early as this week, the Oakland Raiders rallied behind their head coach and beat the Kansas City Chiefs 23-8.
“I don’t worry about things I can’t control. That’s not my decision whether I’ll be here,” Lane Kiffin said after the game. “I’m going to prepare my staff for the game next week.”
Rookie running back Darren McFadden had a great game rushing for 164 yards after starter Justin Fargas left the game with a painful groin injury.
“They came out and knocked us off the ball and ran the ball down our throat,” Chiefs coach Herm Edwards said. “We got embarrassed at home.”
It’s only week 2 and Sports Crunch is ready to name the Kansas City Chiefs the worst team in the National Football League.
