Dog lovers beware, Michael Vick is out of prison and on his way home. Vick, accompanied by his fiance Kijafa Frink and a videographer, left the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas without any media members spotting them.

“It’s a happy day for him to be starting this part of the process,” Vick’s attorney Larry Woodward said. “He looks forward to meeting the challenges he has to meet.”

When Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank heard the news he wanted to make sure damn sure everyone understands there is no way in hell Vick will ever play for him again.

“We’ve made it clear Michael’s not going to play for us again, as you know,” Blank said. “Right now his salary is being tolled so it has no effect on our cap, beyond the allocation of signing bonus which happens under any circumstances. So we’ll deal with it at the time we think is correct.”

Vick going to prison could have been the best thing that has ever happened to the Falcons. Afterall, Matt Ryan is head and shoulders better than that dog killer is, was, and ever will be.
