The #1 pound for pound boxer in the world, Manny Pacquiao had tuff childhood and his dad didn’t help matters. Supposedly the Filipino star ran away from home when he was 14-years old after he caught his father eating his dog.

“Manny saw his dad eat his dog and that is why he ran away from home and became a boxer,” Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach said.

According to Roach, Pacquiao’s dad was drunk and hungry so he took his son’s dog, fried it and then ate it.
