Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley are supposedly close to signing a contract to fight each other at a catch weight on October 17th.

“Now that Manny has stated that he is ready to fight me, the only thing left to finish are negotiations,” Mosley said. “Richard Schaefer and Bob Arum are working out the details now. I will be ready to fight Pacquiao on October 17th.”

Pacquiao vs. Mosley would be a great fight but hopefully Pac-man waits until after the Floyd Mayweather-Juan Manuel Marquez fight before he signs any contract. I’d love to see Mayweather finally grow some balls and face Pacquiao before the end of the year.
