USC Trojans quarterback Mark Sanchez has decided to skip his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

“It has been my dream since I was just a little kid to play in the NFL and thanks to this great academic institution and football program, I have the opportunity to realize that dream,” Sanchez said. “It was with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to this university. But I can’t tell you how excited I am for this dream to come true.”

USC coach Pete Carroll strongly disagrees with his decision to leave the university.

Shut your mouth Carroll. The kid is about to become an instant millionaire and you’re going to tell him he should have stayed in school and played for free? You already have your millions so I wouldn’t expect you to understand but there’s no way you can expect a 22-year old to turn down that much money.
