McCoy will return to Texas next season
Texas quarterback Colt McCoy will put the NFL on hold and return for his senior season for the Longhorns.
I’m not going anywhere,” McCoy told the Austin American-Statesman.
“I’m coming back because we have a solid coaching staff, And I’m coming back because I feel like I can develop the young receivers we have.”
McCoy will be turning away millions from the NFL just so he can enjoy a 4th season as the Longhorns starting QB.
“I’ve been blessed to be able to play here,” McCoy told The Sporting News in October. “Not very many people get to [start] here for four years, so what an opportunity.”
Dumb decision Colt, take the money and run while you still can. If he suffers a season ending injury next season in college his draft stock would plummet.
