The Philadelphia Eagles, led by Donovan McNabb, dominated the Arizona Cardinals 48-20 on Thanksgiving night.

“Adversity always happens in our position,” McNabb said. “It’s how you pull yourself out of it. I knew coming into this game if I just continued to be myself and know what I’m seeing out there and react, good things will happen.”

McNabb threw for 4 touchdowns and played like his life was on the line.

“He was very determined, he commanded the offense, he relaxed and played very well,” Eagles head coach Andy Reid said. “He blocked everything out and went about his business. It’s a credit to him and the kind of guy he is.”

Eagles running back Brain Westbrook went crazy scoring a total of 4 touchdowns himself, 2 receiving and 2 rushing.

“We needed this game. It was a little vindication for my offensive line. We did a great job,” Westbrook said.

A couple weeks ago the Cardinals looked like they had a great shot at reaching the Super Bowl but now, with back 2 back losses, they have some serious question marks.

“It sure seemed like we came out flat,” Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “I don’t know if we were mentally prepared. We played hard, but obviously made too many mistakes. We weren’t as crisp as we had been.”

McNabb still won’t be an Eagle next year but if he finishes out the season playing this good, he’ll be guaranteed another starting job with a different team next season.
