Texas Tech superstar wide receiver Michael Crabtree has decided to forgo his final 2 years of eligibility in college football to enter the NFL draft in April.

“I feel like the next level will be a big challenge for me and I’m looking forward to it,” Crabtree said.

Crabtree is projected to be be selected in the first 5 picks of the draft.

“As far as I’ve seen, top 5. That’s what I’m striving for,” Crabtree said.

Crabtree is a great receiver and he’ll do great in the NFL — he’s making the right decision by entering the draft while his stock is hot.

I think he’s a better receiver than Calvin Johnson, and the Lions selected him 2nd overall. The Chiefs could use another receiver so don’t be surprised if they take Crabree with their 3rd overall pick.
