San Francisco 49ers wide receiver and 10th overall draft pick Michael Crabtree is threatening to sit out the entire season and re-enter the NFL draft next year in 2010.

“We are prepared to do it,” Crabtree’s cousin and adviser David Wells said. “Michael just wants fair market value. They took him with the 10th pick and you have Darrius Heyward-Bey getting $38 million? This week is crucial. Michael was one of the best players in the draft and he just wants to be paid like one of the best players. This week is very crucial.”

Michael Crabtree hasn’t even played a down in the NFL yet but it’s already safe to assume he’d one of the dumbest receivers in the league. If he was smart he wouldn’t hire his uneducated dumbass cousin as his advisor.

There’s no way Crabtree sits out the entire season. He’s just trying to get the most money as possible, but he’s hurting his reputation by letting this dumbass speak on his behalf.
