Earlier in the day on Thursday Michael Phelps learned Kellogg’s was dropping their endorsement deal after he was seen hitting a bong in this picture. Later in the day Phelps continued to get bad news after USA Swimming’s governing body announced they’re suspending him for 3 months.

“This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero,” USA Swimming said in a statement.

Don’t worry about it Michael, you’re still a millionaire. Go ahead, roll another joint and kill some more brain cells. You’re just a swimmer — nobody expects you be smart anyways.
