Future NFL hall of fame defensive end Michael Strahan has announced his engagement to Nicole Murphy, the ex-wife of actor Eddie Murphy.

“I have a great relationship and she’s a great girl,” Strahan said. “I don’t like to talk much about my private life, but I’m really happy.”

Strahan reportedly proposed to Nicole on a beach in the Bahamas with a beautiful canary yellow and white diamond ring.

Although they have thought about it, the couple has no plans for children.

“There aren’t any plans for kids… We’ve got nine between us already,” Strahan said.
