Milwaukee Brewers Clinch NL Wild Card
Thanks to CC Sabathia and Ryan Braun, the Milwaukee Brewers have clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 1982 after their 3-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
“As good as we feel right now, everything that’s happened this month, everything that’s happened this week is in the past now,” Shortstop J.J. Hardy said. “We’re in the playoffs, and I don’t think we could be happier.”
The Brewers will face the Phillies in the first round of the playoffs. The NL central champs [Chicago Cubs] will face Los Angeles Dodgers.
