Americans Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh became the first duo to ever win consecutive Olympic beach volleyball gold medals after they beat China’s Wang Jie and Tian Jia 21-18, 21-18 on Thursday.

“Ever since the ball dropped in Athens, we’ve wanted to repeat as Olympic champions,” May-Treanor said. “No one’s ever done it.”

May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh are playing amazing volleyball and are near unbeatable at the moment. They are currently on a 108 match win streak and nobody has really threatened them in quite awhile.
